'Homemade'

I still struggle with my small gas oven as it is not a uniform heat and the temperature control is not accurate. I am getting better though. Last night I tackled Oatmeal Raisin muffins and they will be a 'keeper' recipe. I made bread for the first time but will need to tweak the recipe a bit as the bread was crumbly but still delicious. We used it for cinammon toast this morning and it was heavenly, or at least the Elders thought so when they tried it. It poured last night so the weather is starting to change - soon there will be rain every day for 2 months.
